history

When I was a boy, I was extremely popular with middle-aged and older women.
(Or so I thought.)
Even though I just said hello as I passed by, I was told, “She’s so cute! She’s a good girl! I want her to be my child!”
(Looking back now, I think older women think all young boys are cute.)
So I was convinced that I could become a star in this field, so I studied welfare and got a job at a local nursing home. It was a very simple motivation (lol).
The launch of Hidamari Care was not all smooth sailing

At that time I was full of energy and quite cheeky.
Of course, the facility won’t accept them.
This was the bus that would make him a star at this facility…
Finally, five years into my employment, I decided to do it myself, so I left the facility and founded Hidamari Care Co., Ltd.
I invited a senior colleague who sympathized with my thoughts, rented a private house just a short walk from my parents’ house, and started a day care center, but no elderly people came at all!!
You might not even be able to repay the loan you took out to renovate your bathroom or toilet?
I might not be able to pay the salaries of the staff I invited, or support my wife and children.I held my head in my hands for a while and my thoughts became more and more negative.
With the help of the wisdom and strength of the local people

At times like these, the few elderly users of the facility lent their wisdom and strength to us.
Since the business premises were in an old house, people began to move around more and more freely.
The elderly who used to do nothing but stay silent at home are now coming out to the fields one after another! They are making delicious lunches for us!
It teaches me all kinds of wisdom! How rejuvenating!
And what I will never forget is the support from the local people.
At the time, when I was looking down, he saw me and asked me, “Do you want to try running a cafe for a day in Hidamari?”
When I heard everyone’s thoughts that this would be a good advertisement for Hidamari, I couldn’t help but cry like a man.
Thanks to our users and the local community, Hidamari gradually became known to us, and a year later we had reached our planned number of users.
The important thing at Hidamari is to simply “enjoy each day”

The important thing in Hidamari is just to “enjoy the day”. Where should we go? It’s raining so should we just take a nap? What do you want to eat for lunch? I spend every day looking for fun things to do.
One of the elderly people who enjoyed spending time with us in this way told us they wanted to die in Hidamari, and we were able to be there to care for them at the end.
At Hidamari, we were able to care for 10 people.
Whenever my grandpa would come home from Hidamari, he would always shout “Banzai, banzai!”, and when he finally left the hearse, we shouted “Banzai, banzai!” too.
An old lady fell at Hidamari and became bedridden. When she was released from the hospital and returned to Hidamari, she was actually eating her own meals! I thought it was a real miracle!
I guess he wanted to come back after all…
We were able to care for that grandmother at Hidamari as well.
I plan to publish a book with more details, so check it out there…
“Spreading the word from this town to the world” – Embracing a new dream

Hidamari continued to grow in this way, to the point where many elderly people were waiting to use it.
The house they were renting became too small, so Kuromame made a big decision: “Move to a new house!” and that’s where it all began!!
With further debt sapping my income, I’ve aged considerably, so it’s difficult for me to become a star among the grandmas anymore…I’m quite an old man now.
but,What we learned at Hidamari is “Just have fun!” and that’s our motto.
I have a new dream of continuing to evolve and expand, and spreading our message from this town to the world!
